Beltran Properties Raises Big Money for Local Charities

    If you’re familiar with the Beltrans, you know how dedicated they are to giving back. Both Jaimy and Sherine have been involved in many wonderful projects for many years, and they keep coming up with ways to do more.

    My Kitchen collageThe latest example is Concert ‘n’ Cuisine for a Cause – a benefit concert and food festival to raise money for local non-profits.

    Back in January of 2016, Sherine envisioned an uplifting fundraising event that would unite the community. She wanted to deliver great music, excellent food and impressive prizes. She really wanted everyone to have a great time AND support local charities. In June of 2016, her vision became reality.

    Thanks to the support and hard work of countless people, the first annual Concert ‘n’ Cuisine for a Cause was launched, and it was an undeniable success!

    More than 200 people attended, more than 20 people volunteered, and best of all, the event raised more than $14,000 for two local non-profits:

    • My Kitchen Outreach Program, which works with at-risk youth.
    • Black and Gold Classic, which provides support to veterans.
